Pass the Salt is a direct oceanfront, end unit town home/duplex with Seaview Pier and sunrise views located in the Villas by the Sea community of North Topsail Beach, North Carolina. 

THIS HOME IS A TOWNHOUSE/DUPLEX. It is not a standalone home. 

 

THE POOL IS A PRIVATE COMMUNITY POOL AVAILABLE TO ALL VILLAS BY THE SEA HOMEOWNERS AND GUESTS. IT IS NOT HEATED. IT IS OPEN APR 1 - OCT 31.

There is an additional cleaning fee and a linen fee. All beds are prepared upon arrival.

We offer high-speed internet, Spectrum cable (via the Spectrum app) and smart televisions in every bedroom, as well as the living room. 

 

When you arrive, gather your luggage and groceries and load them into the elevator (annual inspection Feb 2023 and code compliant) located adjacent to the carport. Travel one floor up to the main level where your beach vacation begins! The elevator does not service the two remaining floors. 

The cheerfully decorated main level includes the kitchen, living, and dining areas, as well as one of 3 king bedroom suites with ensuite bath. Somewhat unique to the community, the main floor hallway and bathroom are wheelchair accessible. The living area includes a 65" smart television, a leather sectional sofa, and access to the main deck and private hot tub (Oct 2021).

The dining table seats 10 and there are an additional 4 seats at the kitchen bar. The kitchen includes a microwave (Feb 2023), dishwasher (late 2021), refrigerator (Feb 2023), air fryer, and standard cooktop oven. You will also find fully stocked dishes and glassware for your group, an array of pots and pans, cooking utensils, a crockpot, and a Keurig coffee maker, as well as a standard coffee maker. There is a kitchen armoire that serves as a pantry to aid with countertop/space preservation. Step outside onto the main level deck to take in sweeping views of the North Carolina coast, an inviting hot tub (serviced twice weekly - you may see the technician come by), as well as the boardwalk to beach (shared with the neighboring/attached unit). 

On the 2nd level, you will find a laundry closet (small but effective washer and dryer, new 2023), 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms (one is ensuite, one is shared between the 2 other bedrooms). The bedroom layouts are:

  • a bunk room with 4 twin beds and smart television (shared bath)

  • an oceanfront bedroom with 1 queen bed, access to an oceanfront deck, and smart television (shared bathroom)

  • an oceanfront bedroom with 1 king bed, ensuite bath, access to an oceanfront deck, and smart television

The 3rd level is a private bedroom suite, offering vaulted ceilings, a king bed, an ensuite bath, smart television, and a private oceanfront deck.

Saturday to Saturday, 7 night weekly rentals (you must check-in and out on a Saturday) from April - October.

3 night minimum November - March.

A signed rental agreement and valid ID are required for all reservations.

This is a non-smoking, non-vaping property.

Guest pets are not permitted on the property, per HOA rules.

Events are not permitted on the property.

Parking is provided for a maximum of four (4) vehicles. No additional parking in the Villas development is provided.

Our property manager stocks the home with a starter supply of essentials, including paper products, trash bags and coffee items intended to get you thru a day or two. These amenities are not supplied for your entire stay.

Our Cancellation Policy overrides the limited option provided by VRBO, and is in accordance with NCVRA 42A-36, and Article 36A of Chapter 14 or Article 1 of Chapter 166A of the General Statutes of North Carolina, and is included on our rental agreement.

Should Guest have to cancel for any reason, the Guest must notify the Owner or Property Manager immediately in writing via email. Guest acknowledges that cancellation by the Guest does not relieve the Guest from the specific terms of the Agreement. However, the Owner will make every effort to re-rent the Property for the specified period. If the Property is re-rented for the specified period, advanced rent payments will be refunded to the Guest less any discounts/expenses required to re-rent and less the Travel Insurance Premium.
